After a thirty-eight year career in education, as a high school English teacher and most recently, as a School Counselor, I retired in June 2007.

While I was working professionally, I was a competitive road runner, running in numerous Boston Marathons and serving as Captain of the Greater Lowell Road Runners Masters Team, which won four National Cross Country Championships and numerous Boston Marathon Masters Team Championships. Biking has now replaced running and I bike about 5,000 miles a year.

I became a Justice of the Peace after being asked to perform marriage ceremonies for the children of many of my friends. Officiating at their weddings truly allowed me to understand the magic that occurs on these special occasions, magic that I want to have happen for you.

My career was predicated on helping people, and I hope to continue that working with you. My background in English and counseling enables me to collaborate with you and design a ceremony that is uniquely yours. At Personalized Marriage Ceremonies in Littleton, Massachusetts, together, we will create a beautiful,

memorable wedding.

Retirement has also afforded me the time to pursue another of my passions -- rescuing and adopting racing greyhounds for the past twenty three years in association with Greyhound Friends, Inc in Hopkinton, MA. My wife, Ky, and I are fortunate to share our lives with five of these beautiful dogs. I currently coordinate our Educational Outreach Program, allowing thousands of school children to learn about and meet rescued greyhounds.
